I've successfully made it through the first weekend of December! Despite the fact that I attended a "holiday cookie party" on Saturday, I weighed in this morning at 178! I'm very excited!

The quotation marks were to stress that the whole point of the party was to sit around and eat cookies. And yet I went willing knowing about the many temptations that would be there.

why is "holiday cookie party" in quotation marks?! was there not enough "holiday"? or not enough "cookies"? maybe there wasn't enough "party"????????

The party was great!
I was bragging on myself. My accomplishment would not be as impressive if I attended a "Holiday Vegetable Party" or "Holiday Beef-N-Cheese Party".
Are you sure? I know that I would be sorely tempted by a "Holiday Beef-N-Cheese" party!
By the way, I'm currently planning a Beef-N-Cheese party for MLK Day. Are you coming? :)
