I'm in Heaven.
Today I got my first “Jake hug.” I’ve been getting “Sam hugs” for over a month now and they have always been fabulous, but today was my first “Jake hug.” He has always been a little less sure of me than Sam, which is fine. But last night we were sitting in the kitchen working on his homework and laughing together. And then this morning when I was standing at the door getting ready to leave and asked for hugs, he was the first one to come up to me. I’m very excited.

I noticed that this morning. I about said something to him but decided to let him be and not make a big deal out of it. I knew he would come around in his own time. After all how could he not, You are the most wonderful woman I have ever met.

That's so sweet. Boys are sometimes a little harder to win over....then again, no, maybe it's girls.....eh, what do I know?? I've never been there. lol. Glad you got a "Jake" hug. I have to agree with Julie....sickeningly sweet. lol.
